A good-natured exchange of questions and answers before the rubber hits the ice
We have noted how similar the Florida Panthers and New York Islanders are on the ice, and what would have been a 1-1-1 season record in the old NHL is perfect evidence of that. But beyond the on-ice stuff, the Islanders and Panthers share much in common as much-maligned franchises that have been the butt of far too many jokes about lack of fans in seats, and poor ownership. The Panthers seem to be well on their way out of that era, and the Islanders have been working to do the same.
