Florida comes in off a 5-4 overtime win at home over Anaheim in their last contest Thursday night. Carolina was dropped 5-3 at home by Philadelphia in their previous contest Thursday night. The Hurricanes have taken four straight matchups and seven of the last eight coming into this contest, including a 6-3 road win in the first match-up this season on October 8.
