Florida Panthers to Select 23rd Overall in the First Round of 2016 NHL Draft

SUNRISE, Fla. – The Florida Panthers currently own the 23rd overall draft selection in the 2016 NHL Draft, which takes place on Friday, June 24 at the First Niagara Center in Buffalo, N.Y., and will be televised on NBC Sports Network (Sportsnet and TVA in Canada) beginning at 7:00 p.m. Rounds 2-7 will take place on Saturday, June 25, starting at 10 a.m. with NHL Network (Sportsnet in Canada) providing live coverage.

The Panthers own a total of six picks in the seven-round draft. It marks the second time that Florida has owned the 23rd overall selection in the NHL Draft.
