The Florida Panthers have signed forward Scott Wilson on a one-year, two-way contract.
Wilson, 28, appeared in six regular season games with the Buffalo Sabres in 2019-20, producing one goal and one assist He also played in 37 games with Buffalo’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Rochester Americans, registering 11 goals and 22 points.
The 5-foot-11, 177-pound native of Oakville, Ontario, has appeared in 193 career National Hockey League games with the Pittsburgh Penguins (2014-15 to 2017-18), Detroit Red Wings (2017-18), and Buffalo Sabres (2017-18 to 2019-20), amassing 51 points (20G/31A).
