Florida Panthers Sign F Brett Connolly to a Four-Year, $14M Contract

On Monday, June. 1, the Florida Panthers announced the signing of forward Brett Connolly to a four-year, $14M contract worth $3.5M annually.

Connolly, who’s 27 years of age, was originally drafted by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the first round (6th overall) of the 2010 NHL Draft. He spent his first four seasons in Tampa Bay, featuring in 134 games and recording 18G, 14A, for 32 points.

Connolly would spend the next two seasons with the Boston Bruins after he was dealt there at the 2015 NHL Trade Deadline.
