Florida Panthers Sign D Anton Stralman to a Three-Year, $16.5M Contract

On Monday, June. 1, the Florida Panthers announced the signing of defenseman Anton Stralman to a three-year, $16.5M contract worth $5.5 annually.

Stralman, who’s 32-years-old, recently played with the Tampa Bay Lightning for the past five seasons. During the 2018-19 season, Stralman tallied 2G, 15A, and 17 points in 47 games – a campaign that was shortened due to injury.

In a grand total of 355 games with the Lightning, Stralman concluded his tenure there with 29G, 101A, and 130 points. He will be remembered for the solid defensive presence that he brought and established in Tampa Bay.
