Florida Panthers Recall Jakub Kindl from Portland (AHL) Mike McKenna Recalled on Emergency Basis

SUNRISE, Fla. – Florida Panthers Executive Vice President and General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that defenseman Jakub Kindl has been recalled from the club’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Portland Pirates. Additionally, the Panthers announced goaltender Mike McKenna has been recalled from Portland on an emergency basis.

The 29-year old Kindl has recorded six points (2-4-6) and a plus-three rating in 25 games with Detroit this season and four points (3-1-4) in 10 games with Grand Rapids (AHL). Kindl has played 273 NHL games all with Detroit (2009-16) recording 68 points (16-52-68).
