SUNRISE, Fla. – The Florida Panthers announced today that Peter Mahovlich has been named a Special Advisor to Ownership. Mahovlich has spent the last six seasons as a professional scout with the Panthers.
“I am thrilled to expand Peter’s role,” Panthers Chairman, Owner and Governor Vincent Viola said. “Peter is highly respected within our organization and with his peers around the league. His wealth of experience and knowledge from his years as a player, coach and scout are tremendous assets for our organization.”
Mahovlich will continue to work in the Panthers scouting department in addition to his special advisor to ownership role.
