For the most part, Pysyk defended well and did everything we asked of him to do. Mark isn’t a defenseman who will put high fancy numbers on the board, or even rack up in the points department. His “bread and butter” is his ability to defend. Simple yet effective.
In 82 games, Mark put up 4 goals, 13 assists, and 17 points all together. Not bad for a defensive defenseman. Mark was also the only player on the Cats to end off the season with a +/- rating of 0. To make it perfectly clear, I do not stress nor care about his +/- rating.
