Florida Panthers claim Noah Juulsen off waivers from Montreal

The Florida Panthers claimed 23-yer-old defenseman Noah Juulsen off waivers from the Montreal Canadiens.

Juulsen appeared in 13 regular season games with the Laval Rocket of the American Hockey League in 2019-20, producing three assists.

The 6-foot-2, 201-pound native of Surrey, British Columbia, has appeared in 44 career National Hockey League regular season games with Montreal (2017-18 to 2018-19), amassing two goals and eight points. He has played in 47 career AHL regular season games, scoing one goal and nine points (1-8-9).

Originally selected by the Canadiens in the first round (26th overall) of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, Juulsen was a two-time Western Hockey League All-Star and registered 124 points (30G/94A) over 240 career WHL regular season games with the Everett Silvertips (2012-13 to 2016-17).
