On October. 20, 2019, the Florida Panthers announced that they agreed to terms with forward Brian Boyle on a one-year, one-way contract.
Last season, Boyle split the year with the New Jersey Devils and Nashville Predators, participating in 73 games total (47 with NJD; 26 with NSH), recording 18G, 6A, and 24 points (13G, 6A, and 19 points with NJD; 5 goals with NSH).
The 34-year-old is most notably remembered for his stints with the Tampa Bay Lightning (2014-15 to 2016-17) and New York Rangers (2009-10 to 2013-14).
