Florida Panthers Activate Defenseman Steven Kampfer from Injured Reserve

SUNRISE, Fla. – Florida Panthers Executive Vice President and General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that Panthers defenseman Steven Kampfer has been activated from Injured Reserve.

The 27-year old Kampfer has recorded two assists in 13 games this season with Florida. Kampfer has recorded 21 points (2-12-21) in 99 career NHL games with the Boston Bruins (2010-12), Minnesota Wild (2012) and Panthers.

The 5-foot-11, 192-pound native of Ann Arbor, Mich., was originally drafted by the Anaheim Ducks in the fourth round (93rd overall) of the 2007 NHL Draft.
