the Florida Panthers have announced that they have acquired forward Jamie McGinn in exchange for Jason Demers. The Cats will also retain 12.5% of Demers salary.
Dale Tallon and the Panthers see this trade as a way to dump salary and add another gritty forward to the lineup. Dale had a few words to say about the new addition (Jamie):
“Jamie brings size, skill and grit to our lineup and makes us a tougher team to play against. He’s played in over 500 NHL games and possesses a strong game on both sides of the puck.
