SUNRISE (CBSMiami) – Fans of the Florida Panthers surely know who Bill Lindsay is.
He’s been a major part of the team’s history for almost 20 years, scoring the team’s most famous goal during their run to the Stanley Cup Finals in 1996.
An original Panther, he played 506 games over two stints with the team, recording 165 points (69 goals 98 assists).
Recently, Lindsay had been a part of the Panthers television broadcast from 2009 to 2015.
On Thursday the team announced that Lindsay has been named radio color analyst for all of the Panthers home games during the upcoming season.
