DALLAS, Texas - Panthers' forward Jayden Boelter and goalkeeper Valery Restrepo have been awarded Conference USA's Offensive Player of the Week and Goalkeeper of the Week for the period ending September 28, conference officials announced Tuesday afternoon.
Graduate Jayden Boelter is coming off her best week as a Panther. In FIU's first match at Kennesaw State, the Kentucky-native found the back of the net on a header in the 66th minute, putting the Panthers up 2-0 in an eventual win. In her next game at Jacksonville State, the forward again scored on a header, giving the Panthers a 1-0 lead in the 53rd minute.
