MIAMI (Oct. 28, 2021) – The FIU women's soccer team was edged by LA Tech by a score of 4-0 on Thursday night, as the Panthers played their 2021 season finale at FIU Soccer Stadium.
The Panthers played evenly against the Lady Techsters in the opening half as the match stayed scoreless through the first 45 minutes. FIU had opportunities to get on the board before halftime with three shot attempts, including two on goal, but LA Tech was able to stave off the Panthers' attempts. Ithaisa Vinoly recorded one save in the first period to keep a clean sheet before the break, with the Panthers and Lady Techsters tied in the shot margin.
