MIAMI (Jan. 17, 2019) – Despite scoring a season high in points, FIU was unable to overcome WKU as the Panthers fell 94-82 to the Hilltoppers on Thursday afternoon at home.
With the loss, FIU is 3-15 overall and 0-5 in league play, while WKU improves to 10-8 overall and 4-0 in C-USA action on the year.
FIU had five players score in double-figures, with leading the way with 16 on the day. The double-figure effort was her team-leading ninth of the season. (13), (12), (10) and (10) each scored in double-figures on Thursday. WKU's Dee Givens scored 31 points to lead the Hilltoppers.
