MIAMI (Sept. 14, 2019) – An impressive ground attack by FIU on Saturday night carried the Panthers to a 30-17 victory.
With the win, FIU improves to 1-2 overall on the young season. UNH falls to 0-2 on the year. The Panthers will travel to Ruston, Louisiana next week to face LA Tech on Friday, Sept. 20, before returning home to host UMass on Saturday, Oct. 5 at 7:00 p.m. ET.
The Panthers led the Wildcats 20-17 late in the fourth quarter, before a crazy punt return resulted with Dimitry Prophete scooping up a fumble for a touchdown to put the Panthers up by a couple of scores late.
