MIAMI – The FIU volleyball program continued its dominant stretch of play with a straight-set sweep over Jacksonville State on Saturday afternoon from the Ocean Bank Convocation Center.
FIU (16-9, 10-2 CUSA) earned its eighth consecutive Conference USA victory, marking the longest conference win streak in program history. The Panthers have now won eight of their last nine matches and recorded their eighth sweep of the season.
The Panthers took the match in scores of 26-24, 25-16, and 25-21, remaining unbeaten at home in conference play.
Sophomore led the offense once again, notching her fifth straight match in double-digit kills with 11, while adding eight digs, three assists, and two blocks.
