SAN ANTONIO – Dylan Rock singled home Ben Brookover in the bottom of the 10th inning to lead UTSA past FIU, 5-4, Sunday afternoon at Roadrunner Field in San Antonio.
The Roadrunners (21-17, 9-8 Conference USA) took two of three games from the Panthers (18-21, 8-10 C-USA) in the series.
With two outs in the bottom of the 10th, Brookover doubled off Tyler Myrick (1-2) to deep center field. Rock followed with a single just past the outstretched glove of Derek Cartaya into short left field bringing home the decisive run.
