MIAMI (July 23, 2021) – Three members of the FIU track and field programs earned All-Academic honors from the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCA) this past week.
Rhema Otabor (Mathematical Science), Filippa Miller (Digital & Interactive Media), and Desmond Dorceus (Real Estate) all received recognition.
This honor continues the annual recognition of academic success under head coach Ryan Heberling, as last year both the men's and women's program earned were named to the All-Academic team list, and in 2019, four athletes earned individual USTFCCA All-Academic honors, in addition to the consistent presence on the C-USA Academic Honor Roll.
