INDIANAPOLIS (May 4, 2018) – Senior Andrea Lazaro was selected to compete in the 2018 NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Singles Championships. FIU's tandem of junior Maryna Veksler and sophomore Ulyana Grib will also compete in the 2018 NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Doubles Championships, as announced by the NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Subcommittee.
The singles and doubles competition will be conducted May 23-28 at the Wake Forest Tennis Complex in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Wake Forest University will serve as host.
This will mark Lazaro's second appearance in the NCAA Championships and the fourth appearance by a FIU Panther in the women's individual championship.
