MIAMI (March 7, 2019) - The women's tennis team won their six-straight match this afternoon. FIU downed the Charlotte 49ers 4-1, to keep the winning streak alive.
The Panthers improve 7-4 overall and remain undefeated against Conference USA opponents (4-0).
FIU worked a quick 36 minutes to pick up the doubles point. Senior Maryna Veksler and Freshman Paulina Bakaite were the first to finish, an easy 6-1 battle set the tone for the afternoon. Over on court two, Sophomore Sandra Bozinovic and Junior Maria Turrillo worked fast to clinch the point.
