LYNCHBURG, Virginia (Feb. 24, 2022) - The FIU women's swimming and diving team sits in first place overall with xxx points after Day Two at the Conference USA Championships after the Panthers won six medals, including three golds, and reached the podium in all five events.
FIU won the 200 individual medley, the 50 freestyle, and the 200 freestyle relay. Stephanie Hussey took bronze in the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:51.02.
Freshman Christie Chue claimed her first-ever C-USA gold in an individual event after swimming a time of 1:58.
