MIAMI (Feb. 16, 2022) – Swimming and Diving performed well at day four of the American Athletic Conference on Thursday, earning three more medals and winning the 200-individual medley.
Sophomore Christie Chue (1:58.40) took gold in the 200-individual medley with senior Mia Zahab (1:58.86) finishing second in the race. Sophomore Jessica Shpilko (22.85) won bronze in the 50-free.
The Panthers had an excellent prelim with six swimmers making it to the finals.
In the 500-free, freshman Harliai Curthoys-Davies finished eighth (4:53.46) in the prelims and would go on to finish seventh (4:50.
