DALLAS (Jan. 29, 2020) - After a stellar weekend up the coast, FIU swim and dive's Julia Miranda and Mandy Song were named Conference USA Athletes of the Week, the league office announced on Wednesday.
The recognition follows a Saturday in Fort Myers which resulted in a lopsided, 201-95 victory over longtime rival, FGCU. The Panthers improve 6-3 on the season as they head into the final stretch.
Miranda led the way after winning the 200 medley relay, with a time of 1:43.20. In the 100 back, she secured another top finish with a time of 56.
