MIAMI (April 26, 2021) - FIU softball and head coach Chris Steiner-Wilcoxson have announced an exhibition against the Italian Women's National Team on Tuesday, April 27, at 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday's exhibition will be closed to the public, but fans can watch the contest for free on FacebookLIVE (@FIUSoftball).
The matchup will be FIU's second exihibtion against a national team in the past week, as the Panthers hosted Team Canada last Wedensday at Felsberg Field.
Team Italy, currently No. 10 in the WBSC Women's Softball World Rankings, swept the WBSC Softball Europe/Africa Olympic Qualifier last year to qualify for the Olympics for the third time in the nation's history.
