MIAMI (April 9, 2021) - Andjela Skrobonja of FIU women's tennis was named the Conference USA Co-Athlete of the Week, the league announced on Friday.
The honor is the second this season for the women's tennis program, with Kamila Umarova earning the first in late February. Skrobonja was also named the ITA UTR National Player of the Week this past Wednesday.
With last Friday's match against No. 28 Rice on the line, Skrobonja rallied to win six-straight games in the third set and clinch the 4-3 win for the Panthers.
