BOCA RATON, Florida (Jan. 26, 2019) – Despite a career-best day from freshman Ce'Nara Skanes, the FIU women's basketball team fell to Florida Atlantic 77-55 on Saturday to begin a three-game road swing.
With the loss, FIU falls to 3-17 overall and 0-7 in C-USA play, while FAU earned its first league win of the year and moved its record to 4-16 and 1-6 overall.
FIU was led by Ce'Nara Skanes who posted her fourth double-double of the season. Skanes also earned a career-high 21 points to go along with her 12 rebounds on the afternoon.
