MIAMI (Oct. 30, 2016) - The regular season concludes for FIU women's soccer on Sunday, when the Panthers host Old Dominion on the last day of the regular season. The contest, originally scheduled for October 9, was wiped out due to the effects of Hurricane Matthew, which ravaged the East Coast that weekend.
The Panthers (3-10-3, 2-5-2, C-USA) cannot qualify for the league tournament, while the Monarchs (6-11, 4-5 C-USA) need a win to pass Marshall for the eighth and final spot in next week's tournament in Charlotte.
FIU has scored twice in back-to-back games for the first time this season, last losing Friday afternoon to North Texas, which will at least share the league regular-season crown.
