MIAMI (April 3, 2022) – FIU baseball fell at home to the Old Dominion Monarchs by a score of 18-5 in seven innings on Sunday afternoon.
The Panther offensive duo of Robert Sotolongo and Jorge Ramirez each collected a pair of hits and scored once in the series finale. Sotolongo also drew two walks on the day.
Alec Sanchez flexed his offensive muscles again on Sunday by hitting his team-leading eighth home run of the season. Sanchez's homer pushed across three runs giving the Panther centerfielder 29 RBIs on the year, which also leads the squad.
