WASHINGTON, D.C (November 28, 2017) -- FIU women's hoops starts a three-game road trip in the mid-Atlantic Wednesday night when the Panthers play at Georgetown, with a 7 p.m. tipoff from McDonough Arena. This is the fourth all-time meeting between the programs, with the Hoyas winning all three previous meetings. The two teams squared off last November in their first meeting in Miami, with the Hoyas overcoming a one-point halftime deficit in a 13-point win last November 22.
Georgetown is 3-3. FIU is 2-4.
Both teams are coming off of Sunday victories. FIU put five players in double-digits in scoring, including double-doubles from Kiandre'a Pound and Shante Walker to outlast Charleston Southern 77-70 on Sunday.
