Miami, Fla - Women's basketball's Rhema Collins has been recognized as Conference USA's Player of the Week for the period ending November 7, conference officials announced Monday afternoon.
The junior had a career-day in a Panthers victory over Georgia State in their only game of the week. The Bahamas native put up 40 points on 16-21 shooting in the contest, the most points any player in CUSA has scored so far this season, and tied for sixth in the nation in most points scored per game by any individual player.
On top of her dynamic scoring performance, Collins notched her fourth double-double of the season by bringing in 12 rebounds, tying her for the lead in CUSA in double-doubles.
