DALLAS (July 21, 2021) – FIU's D'vonte Price was named to 2021 Doak Walker Award watch list, the PwC MSU Athletic Forum announced on Wednesday. The forum annually presents the award to the nation's top college running back.
In his first full season as the primary tailback, Price rushed for 581 yards on 85 carries with four touchdowns along the way to being named to 2020 Conference USA honorable mention team. Price's 6.84 yards per carry topped the league and ranked 11th-best in the country in 2020.
Price rushed for over 100 yards in four of FIU's five games during the 2020 season including a career-high 178 yard performance against Florida Atlantic.
