MIAMI (August 8, 2017) -- The FIU women's soccer program began its preseason training over the weekend. The 24 players converged for headshots and team pictures before strength and conditioning training, receiving their gear and attending meetings ahead of the first workouts.
"It is great to have the staff and team here together," said new FIU Head Coach Sharolta Nonen. "It's also nice to be able to meet with and see some of our new players together. It's great to start meshing the personalities and see how we are interacting on the field."
The program will hold new open tryout for new players this Saturday and Sunday prior to the second week of training.
