TALLAHASSEE (Oct. 19, 2019) - Action continued at the ITA Southeast Regional Championships on Saturday, as the Panthers picked up a doubles victory to highlight play on Saturday.
The doubles duo of Kamila Umarova and Basak Akbas downed their first foes of the day 8-4, before falling in the quarterfinals after a tough match.
In singles play, Umarova fell to Georgia's Lea Ma, 6-1, 7-6(5). Akbas dropped her match as well, falling to Meg Kowlawski, 6-3, 6-1.
