SAN ANTONIO (May 15, 2022) - The FIU Panthers have secured three bronze medals at the Conference USA Outdoor Championships heading into the final day of competition.
Qua'liyyah Taylor, a freshman, earned third in the discus with a throw of 48.97m on her fifth attempt, a personal best.
In the long jump, Queshun Watson-Riggins took the bronze with a mark of 7.58.
In the heptathlon over days one and two, Maika Cuenca finished in third, scoring 4752 points. Fabiola Declet was right behind in fourth, with 4668 points, giving FIU 11 points from the event.
