MIAMI (March 10, 2017) – The FIU women's tennis team (11-1) won its ninth-straight match with a 7-0 blanking of Boston University on Friday afternoon from the FIU Tennis Courts.
The win snapped a two-match losing skid for the Panthers versus the Terriers (5-6). It also improved FIU to 6-0 at home this season.
The Panthers took the doubles portion of the match as Nina Nagode and Andrea Lazaro defeated Remi Ramos and Barbara Rodriguez, 6-1, Maryna Veksler and Ulyana Grib topped Sabrina Faybyshev and Iryna Kostirko, 6-2, and Gabriela Ferreira and Mina Markovic downed Madison Craft and Lily O'Fagan, 6-2.
