NORFOLK, Virginia (April 17, 2021) - The FIU men's soccer team dominated Old Dominion on Saturday afternoon, as the Panthers beat the Monarchs 5-0 to close out the regular season on the road.
Matias Barraza scored once and added two assists, while Talla Faye scored and logged an assist as well to aide the Panther onslaught. Between the posts, Grant Makela earned the shutout while grabbing a save on six shots faced.
The 5-0 shutout was the largest for FIU since 2019, while the Panthers have outscored the Monarchs 10-0 in the last two meetings.
