MIAMI (Jan. 1, 2021) – The FIU men's basketball team welcomed Old Dominion to the Ocean Bank Convocation Center for the Panthers' first Conference USA contest on Friday night. The Panther squad defeated the Monarchs 82-67 for their first win of the new year.
FIU improved to 7-2 with the win while ODU goes to 4-3 with the loss. The victory marked the first home win over the Monarchs in school history and just the second-ever time FIU defeated Old Dominion on the hardwood.
