DAYTONA BEACH, Florida (February 22, 2021) – The FIU Baseball team kept its unbeaten record intact in the first midweek of the season on Tuesday night as the Panthers downed the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats, 9-4.
With the win, FIU improves to 5-0 on the season ahead of welcoming Seton Hall and Michigan to Miami this weekend. It was also the Panthers' third come from behind victory in 2022.
Alec Sanchez turbocharged the Blue & Gold offense with his second four-hit game of the season. The junior from Jacksonville also scored three times on Tuesday.
