MIAMI (Feb. 9, 2019) – A pair of timely errors helped lift the FIU softball team past Memphis on Saturday night, as the Panthers downed the Tigers 4-1 to close day two at Felsberg Field.
FIU and UConn were scheduled to play in the nightcap, but multiple rain delays forced that game to be scrapped. The Panthers will face Bryant and UConn on Sunday at 9:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. ET.
FIU improves to 2-1 on the year following the victory, with both wins coming against Memphis. The Tigers fall to 1-3 on the season.
