MIAMI (April 25, 2020) - FIU's Stantley Thomas-Oliver III was selected by the Carolina Panthers in the seventh round of the NFL Draft on Saturday, as the former Panther defensive back was picked 221st overall.
With the selection, Thomas-Oliver becomes the 10th Panther selected in the NFL Draft since 2007. James Morgan was drafted earlier in the day to the New York Jets in the fourth round, marking the third year the Panthers have had multiple players selected in the same NFL Draft. FIU had two players selected in 2007 and 2013 prior to the 2020 year.
