MIAMI (Dec. 4, 2020) – The FIU men's basketball team hosted Jacksonville State for a game at the Ocean Bank Convocation Center on Friday night. The Panthers topped the Gamecocks 74-70 to go 4-0 for the first time since the 2002-03 season.
With the win, FIU moves to 4-0 this season while Jacksonville State goes to 3-2 for the year with the loss.
The Panthers started the game on an 11-0 run, but JSU stormed back by shooting 46.4% as a team, and at the half FIU led by just three. The Panthers shot 43.
