MIAMI (March 16, 2022) – No. 19 FIU Beach Volleyball took on North Florida and No. 2 Southern Cal for the final day of the 2022 Surf N Turf Invitational on Wednesday. The Panthers topped the Osprey 4-1 before falling to the defending national champions by a score of 5-0.
The top Panther paring of Giada Bianchi and Paige Kalkhoff continued their winning way in Wednesday's opener against UNF by downing the Osprey 23-21 and 21-9 before falling to USC for the pair's first loss of the season.
On the fives court, the FIU pairing of Kendall Mather and Lisa Luini were the only Panthers to push the Trojans to a third set.
