DELAND, Florida (Feb. 27, 2021) – The FIU beach volleyball team battled No. 14 South Carolina and No. 15 TCU on the Cooper Beach Courts at the Stetson Spring Fling on Saturday. The Panthers fell to the Gamecocks 4-1 and the Horned Frogs 3-2.
During the first dual against South Carolina, Abbie Hughes and Paige Kalkhoff were the lone pair to bring home a win, defeating their opposition 19-21, 21-11,15-10 on court two. Against the Horned Frogs, Lina Bernier and Gina Lipscomb knocked off TCU on court three with the 21-17, 21-17 win.
