JACKSONVILLE, Florida (Feb. 12, 2021) - The Panthers fought hard against the Ospreys in a wet and rainy match, but a second-half goal was not enough as the FIU women's soccer team fell to North Florida by a score of 3-1 in Jacksonville.
FIU's record now stands at 1-1 on the young season, while UNF improves to 2-0.
After falling behind by a margin of 3-0 against the Ospreys, the match was paused at the 53rd minute due to a lightning delay. FIU found the back of the net shortly after resuming play, thanks to a goal off the foot of Kédie Johnson in the 57th minute.
