MIAMI (May 7, 2022) – The FIU baseball team fell 5-1 to the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders on a sweltering Saturday night in South Florida.
Matthew Gonzalez and Ruben Carpio owned four of the six Panther hits on the evening with the FIU offensive duo collecting multi-hit nights. The lone Blue & Gold extra-base knock was a Carpio double down the left field line to lead off the sixth.
Jorge Ramirez, Robert Sotolongo and Noel Perez each reached via a base hit on Saturday.
