DELAND, Florida (May 14 2019) – The FIU baseball team fell on Tuesday in a 6-4 decision at the hands of Stetson in the final midweek of the 2019 season.
FIU heads into the final weekend of the season with a 22-30 overall record and a 11-16 mark in Conference USA. Stetson improves to 22-19.
On a night that saw eight different Panther pitchers each toss one inning of work, Steven Casey was tagged with the loss after allowing two earned runs on two hits in the opening frame. Michael Bacica of Stetson was handed the win.
