RUSTON, Louisiana (Feb. 13, 2020) – The FIU men's basketball team faced Louisiana Tech in a Conference USA Battle at the Thomas Assembly Center on Thursday night. The Panthers fell to the Bulldogs 60-57 during the road contest.
With the loss, FIU goes to 17-9 for the season and 8-5 in league play. LA Tech moved to 18-7 this year and 9-4 against C-USA opponents.
In the first half, the teams went back-and-forth with the Bulldogs holding the slight 29-28 advantage as both sides visited the locker room. The Panthers shot 37.9% from the field but just 15.
